Dallas County Promise

What does it mean to be a Promise Scholar?

Dallas County Promise can help you succeed in college and in the career you are passionate about. With tuition assistance, success coaching and advising, our Promise is to support you in earning your credentials, whether it’s a career certification, or associate’s or bachelor’s degree.

Colleges participating with Dallas County Promise offer "last-dollar scholarships" to students who graduate from a Promise high school with a high school diploma or associate’s degree. The Promise scholarship covers the gap between need-based financial aid and the cost of tuition for up to a time limit or the completion of a degree per institution.

Our Promise partner colleges promise to support and challenge you as you make your dreams a reality. Learn more about what our Promise partners offer, require, and need from you! Check out the list of 57 Promise high schools in Dallas County that participate in Dallas County Promise.
